Out of around 12 lakh votes in Eluru Lok Sabha segment, Maganti Babu managed to win the confidence of only 623,471 votes despite the support of BJP and Jana Sena in 2014 Polls. His nearest opponent Thota Chandrasekhar (YSRC) received 521,545 votes.
