The chairman of Southern Ijaw National Union of Local Government Employees (NULGA) has been assassinated by unknown gunmen.
According to Elaye Igbian Warifagha Yagila (Secretary CDC Anyama-ijaw) the unknown gunmen attacked a tricycle carrying the chairman and shot him dead about 2pm on Friday, February 9th, at Kekenape at Anyama-Ijaw Junction, Bayelsa.

“It all happen at about 2.15pm today being Friday 9th February, 2018. when unknown gunmen attacked a Tricycle popularly known as Kekenape at Anyama-Ijaw Junction this afternoon and Killed the Southern Ijaw NULGA Chairman.”
