Born Adedamola Adefolahan but widely known as Fireboy DML or simply “Fireboy”, is a Nigerian born Afro-pop singer and songwriter is now one of the biggest meat in Nigeria music industry. The talented singer hails from Ogun State, South-Western Nigeria. Adedamola Adefolahan was born on 5th of February, 1996 into the family of the Adefolahan’s in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria.

Adedamola Adefolahan aka Fireboy DML attended primary and secondary education in Abeokuta, Ogun State, South-Western Nigeria. After completing his formal education, he bagged a degree in English language from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife .

Fireboy officially started singer at a very tender age in churches and schools. He started manifesting his love for music while studying at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and he became widely known in the school. His break through came into place when his talent was noticed YBNL boss Olamide Baddo. Fast forward to October 2018, Fireboy DML was signed into YBNL by Olamide who is also the Chief Executive Officer of the record label. According to reports, Fireboy was signed into YBNL with the aim of replacing Adekunle Gold who departed the label after releasing his debut album titled “LIFE“. The singer revealed that 2019 was also one of the best years for his career as many good things happened in his life. He went on to released his most famous single/track titled “Jealous“. The song – Jealous gained publicity and was widely accepted by his fans and lovers of Nigerian Afro-pop music.
