Linda was first runner-up Miss Nigeria Entertainment Canada 2011 and 2nd runner up Miss AfriCanada 2011 beauty pageant. Linda Osifo was born July 27, 1991 in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. She originally hails from Edo State Benin to be more precise. She grew up with her grand mother and moved to Canada at the age of 16 but she spent her most of her adult years in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. After spending many years in Canada, she relocated to her father’s land Nigeria and based in Lagos this time not Edo State with the main aim to pursue her acting career.

Linda is the first daughter and middle child of her family. She had her secondary school education at St Thomas Aquinas High School, where she obtained her senior secondary school leaving certificate before she proceeded to York University in Toronto Canada and obtained her Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology in 2013.

Career And Stardom

Linda started her career as a model, she officially started her modelling career during her stay in Canda, Linda was the first runner up at the Miss Nigeria Canada Entertainment in 2011 and 2nd runner Up at the Miss AfriCanada Pageant. She spend fifteen years in Canada and finally returned to Nigeria in September 2013 to pursue an acting career.

She launched her acting career in 2012 when she starred in Family Secrets, in New Jersey, USA directed by Ikechukwu Onyeka. She joined Nollywood in late 2013 after returning from Canada where she starred in her first Nollywood film, ‘King Akubueze’, directed by Nonso Emekewe. She has since then featured in the popular Nigerian soap opera Tinsel as ‘Nina Fire’. In 2017, Linda played the role of Adesuwa Dakolo in EbonyLife’s spin-off drama series, ‘Fifty’[8] and Africa Magic’s television series ‘Jemeji’, playing the role of Noweyhon.

She has also co-hosted the “Give ‘n’ Take National Jackpot” gameshow alongside Segun Arinze. She presented along side Sina Peller the ‘Best Vocal Performance (Male) award during the 12th Headies and the award was bagged by artist Praiz. She also presented award for ‘Best Vocal Performance (Female)’ award which was won by Omawumi. She has also been linked to Campari ‘Make it Red in June 2018, campaign being path of the cast in the advert alongside former Big Brother Nigeria housemate Tobi Bakre and mega super-star artist 2baba.
