You ever have such a traumatic day that you need to completely forget you're even an adult? Me. A LOT. Especially tonight.

I came home, pulled up Spotify, and brought myself back to circa 1998 (or so). I was around 8 back then, and while I am proud that my musical taste has improved exponentially, nothing takes me back like those awfully-wonderful (take that however you'd like) pop hits.

Where to start, well I'll tell you EXACTLY where I started, and that is with A*Teens. If you don't know who they are, this might not be the blog post for you.. maybe even the blog for you... I don't need that kind of negativity in my life! A*Teens, a Swedish quartet of teenagers remaking old ABBA songs.. what more could you ask for? Elvis Presley re-makes? No worries, they cover that too! Aren't sure who they are? I got you!

NEXT! I stroll through "Related Artists" .. B*Witched. YES. yes. yesss. I've never wanted to be anything as bad as when I wanted to be Irish when B*Witched came out. The dancing. The accents. The cameo on the Disney Channel movie "Smart House". I wanted it all. I did like a few of their other songs, but this was the banger, and I mean this was THE JAM. You are like, soooooo welcome!

By now I can feel myself in the 90's. How do I top this? How do I solidify this feeling? I think you already know. Two. Words. Spice. GIRLS!!!!! If you wanna be my lover, you better get with the fucking spice girls, because that is MY SHIT! I hope you all tune into your inner Scary Spice or Baby Spice, and have a RAD night!
