The Furniture Rental Startup furlenco has raised $1.5 million in a debt funding round from a consortium of NHI investors. The company is based in Bangalore.

The participants invested in round include Rekha Hrishikesh Mafatlal, Lakshmi Narayanan and M Krishna Sundhuri Private Trust.

Earlier in December 2017 the furniture Rental Startup raised $300k in funding from bollywood actor Aamir Khan.

Furlenco was founded by Ajith Mohan Karimpana in 2011 and so far it has raised over $30 million from the investors Lightbox ventures, Kris Gopalakrishnan’s Pratithi Trust, Axis Capital, Trifecta Capital and others.

Online furniture renting has become quite popular, in result of which furlenco’s competitors Rentmojo, renticles, cityfurnish and others have also attracted investors from different corners.
