After making a sensation amongst the fans of Aishwarya Rai and Anil Kapoor with two intriguing posters, the makers of Fanney Khan has ultimately released the trailer of the film.
The film features Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rajkummar Rao, besides another supporting cast.
The trailer is quite an emotional one and combined with Rajkummar Rao and Anil Kapoor’s roles in the movie, it shows to be an interesting watch.
If we go by trailer alone, the movie Fanney Khan is predominantly centred around its protagonist, Anil Kapoor. He, in the movie, is adamant about making his daughter a renowned singer. He can go to any damn extent to make his daughter a wonderful singer. It is revealed that since the movie portrays a father-daughter story at its core, Anil was the natural choice to play the father.
He is there in a role of a father, who couldn’t fulfil his dream of transforming his wish of becoming a singer. So, now he can go to any extent to showcase his daughter’s talent for singing to the world. The movie delivers a clear message as the posters unveil that “Dream never dies”. The film also sends out a strong message on body shaming as well.
As per the plot of the movie, when nothing seems to go in his way, Anil Kapoor in his role as a desperate father seeks help from a friend and kidnaps a renowned celebrity. Rajkummar plays him that close friend and Aishwariya plays the kidnapped pop sensation.

Directed by a top director of Bollywood, Atul Manjrekar’, Fanney Khan is inspired or rather a Hindi remake of a Dutch film Everybody’s Famous.
The music of the film Fanney Khan has been presented by Amit Trivedi while the lyrics have been penned by Irshad Kamil. The shooting of the movie was commenced from September 2017.
The movie is scheduled to be released globally on August 3, 2018.
