After getting a lot of appreciation from the audience, the producers of ‘Gold’ are now organizing a special event for the Film.

Akshay Kumar will especially be back to India to participate in the event.

The lead actor Akshay Kumar will be joined by the cast and crew of his film. This special event in question is being held for a Song launch. The song is titled ‘Naino Ne Bandhi’.

The romantic song is expected to showcase the two lead actors Akshay and Mouni’s romance. A still from this romantic track has already been released a day ago which was taken well by the netizens. Now, this looks like an interesting way to keep the movie in news.

The ‘Gold’ has cast of Kunal Kapoor, Amit Sadh, Vineet Singh, Sunny Kaushal & Nikita Dutta.

The plot of the film revolves around India’s first Olympic medal winner in the year 1946. It happened at the XIV Olympiad, London. The movie has been shot across the UK and India.

Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar this is being made under the banner of Excel Entertainment. The movie is written and directed by Reema Kagti and will hit the theatres on 15th August 2018.

The film traces the “golden era” of the game through the journey of Tapan Das, a young player in 1936, who dreams of playing on behalf of an independent nation.

The shooting for the film had begun on 1 July 2017 in Bradford, England.

The shooting of the film was carried out in Yorkshire at Bradford, Doncaster and Rotherham. After the England schedule, the team of the movie moved to Punjab in September 2017 for its second schedule. It was done in Amritsar and Patiala.

The final schedule of the ‘Gold’ was finalized in Mumbai in December 2017. The teaser was launched on 5 February 2018.

Sachin-Jigar composed the songs and background music. A few songs were composed by Arko Pravo Mukherjee and Tanishk Bagchi.

Lyrics of the ‘Gold’ were written by Javed Akhtar. The movie also has samples songs like Colonel Bogey March and National Anthem, Jana Gana Mana.
