The deal is in the final stages, and Apple is almost ready to buy a popular music recognition app - Shazam at $ 400 million, about 300 million pounds, and about 145 million Nigerian naira.
Shazam is a British company founded in 1999 that allows people to use a smartphone or computer to recognize and purchase music through a sound extract.
According to Shazam, more than 100 million people use their apps every month. They get the bulk of the revenue from the paid fees for recommendations to Apple's iTunes Store.
