Yakubu Gowon, the former head of state, says he would make jobs the Capital Nigeria but because of the fear of being charged with "parachuting and favoritism."
He said that on Tuesday the 26th anniversary of the presentation and commemoration of Lagos's headquarters movement in Abuja.
Gowon, who was the head of the state from 1966 to 1975, stated that the idea of transferring national capital from Lagos to Abuja was outlined by his government in 1974.
