Follow the steps below to Screenshot your Android phone;

Step 1. Hold the sleep/wake button ( i.e the power button) and the volume button down at the same time.

Although how to screenshot varies. In most Android phone devices, you can take a screenshot by holding down the sleep/wake button and the down-volume button simultaneously (instead of holding them down at the same time)

Step 2. Hold and continue holding these two buttons down until your screen flashes, indicating the screen has been captured.

This step, process and method differ, depending on the phone and models. For example, some phones have home button, like on Samsung Galaxy phones, and some other selected phones from other manufacturers that has a home button.

In cases like that, try holding down the power button and the home button until the screen flashes. But this is after you might have tried the normal or standard Android screenshot method of power button and volume button combinations.

What I mean is, if your phone has a home button, and you try to screenshot your Android phone by holding the power button and the down volume button (Power button + Volume button), if it does not work out that way, then you try to hold the power button and the home button, (Power button + Home button).

Now after you have taken the screenshot, to view the shot, go to your phone gallery app and then look out for “Screenshot” album. Tap on it to open the gallery, then tap on the particular screenshot you have taken to view it.
