The AOC CQ27G2 has a good overall construction quality. Although almost entirely made of plastic, it looks decently solid. There are no major gaps and the bottom of the border is uniform. AOC does not appear to have made any changes to the overall construction compared to the AOC CQ27G1.
The AOC CQ27G2 has good ergonomics, with great height adjustment, a good revolving range and a wide range of inclinations. It doesn’t rotate, but this is normal for curved monitors.

The AOC CQ27G2 is a high-quality 27-inch and 1440p monitor with a VA panel. It has a fantastic design, with a wide stand that supports the monitor well and good ergonomics. Like most VA monitors, it has a high native contrast ratio, which offers deep blacks, but this comes at the expense of viewing angles, which are disappointing. It offers a great overall gaming experience, with low input delay and fast response times, but like many VA monitors we’ve tested, there’s remarkable movement in dark scenes, which can be a distraction. Choosing the room is important with this monitor as it can not be very bright, so glare could be a problem in a bright room.
