The rift between Marquise Jackson and his famous father, 50 Cent, has been long and well-documented, especially where their contentious interactions on social media are concerned. The latest chapter in this ongoing beef surfaced in the early hours of Wednesday morning (October 11th), when Fif decided to make a joke centering around women who collect child support and/or have kids. Marquise, not surprisingly, didn't take to it well.

First, the original post from 50 Cent. He shared a picture of a Jason Vorhees-style mask that also has the Friday the 13th moniker emblazoned underneath it, captioning the image with the following: "Child support release party Friday 13, Club Lust 1:00 AM Happy Hour drinks on me. Tom petty is alive !!! Ladies with no kids, Free Admission 😆 Ladies who didn't collect child support, Free Admission😆" While some may have found the punchline funny, other social media users saw it as cringeworthy, with Marquise being one of them. Not long after the post went up, 50's son left a pointed response in the comments section, which you can view below.

Not an entirely surprising reaction, considering how the youngster has raked his father over the Internet coals before for similar comments. In a report that was published in February, BET reported that 50 Cent had actually blocked Marquise on Instagram, which resulted in fans harassing Marquise to reach out to his dad and settle things. After a period of silence, the youngster said that he would have no part in the extending of olive branches, since he felt more like the victim that the perpetrator here.

The longer history of their feud is a little more complicated. As per a rundown of events from VH1, the two remained relatively close until 50's bitter break-up with Jackson's mother, Shaniqua Tompkins. She accused him of trying to evict her from his home despite promising her the $4 million Long Island property earlier on in their relationship. In the spring of that same year, the house in question burned down in a suspicious incident that Tompkins claims was Fif's attempt to murder her. Marquise's relationship with 50 Cent was all downhill from there, with the rapper threatening to remove his son from his will in 2012. Sounds like the baggage they have left to unpack together is piled pretty high.
