The Kansas City Chiefs are the only unbeaten team remaining in the NFL after last night's dramatic 29-20 victory over the Washington Redskins.
Kansas City's rookie kicker, Harrison Butker, missed the first field goal of his NFL career at the end of the first half but bounced back by hitting three in the second half, including a game winner from 43 yards out with eight seconds remaining.
The Chiefs would tack on another touchdown via fumble recovery on the final play of the game, which not only allowed them to cover the 7 point spread but also hit the over which was set at either 47.5 or 48.
The Redskins had a chance to take the lead while trailing 20-17 with under a minute to play, but wide receiver Josh Doctson dropped the potential game-winning TD, which forced the Skins to settle for a game-tying field goal instead.
In addition to the loss, Washington, 2-2, will be without veteran cornerback Josh Norman for a couple of weeks due to a fractured rib he suffered in Monday Night's game. The good news is, the Redskins have a bye next week before returning to action in Week 6 against the San Francisco 49ers.
The undefeated Chiefs will travel to Houston for a matchup with the 2-2 Texans in Week 5.
