11 Upcoming Earth Tone Sneaker Drops You Can’t Miss

From lighter shades like sand and creme to tan, khaki and dark mocha, sneakers in neutral earth tone colorways continue to gain popularity and are not going anywhere anytime soon.

2021 has already dropped several coveted releases in hues of brown including the Air Joran 4 “Taupe Haze”, Nike Dunk Low “Medium Curry”, Nike Dunk High “Dark Russet” (aka “Dark Curry”), Stussy x Nike Air Huarache LE “Desert Oak”, CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 “Kiss of Death” and the Nike Overbreak SP “Mars Yard”.

But don’t worry, there are plenty more opportunities for you to cop in this colorway. Here are 11 upcoming drops you can’t miss, especially if earth tone sneakers are your thing.

Bad Bunny x adidas Forum Lo

A collaboration between the Puerto Rican Reggaeton phenom Bad Bunny and adidas Originals are on the horizon in the form of the Forum Lo silhouette.

The colorway is an earth tone lovers dream, leaning on the lighter shades of tan with accents of dark brown.

The upper strap which is a signature of the Forum Lo is removable and given a sturdier upgrade inspired by hiking and camping gear.

Upon opening the velcro component of the strap, the stitched words “YO VISTO ASí” are revealed, which translates to “I DRESS LIKE THIS” or “I DRESS THIS WAY”.

Other notable features include a bungee strap by the heel and a Y-shape looper for the tongue which you can use instead of the strap.

A release date is yet to be announced but the collab is expected to drop this year (2021).

Travis Scott x Air Jordan 6 “British Khaki”

Travis Scott continues his collaboration with Nike with these Air Jordan 6’s which are sure to be extremely sought after and hype like everything he touches.

Along with the oversized Jumpman logo and the Cactus Jack branding, these AJ 6’s feature side pockets on both sides of the sneaker – one buttoned and the other zippered.

It’s rumored that this collaboration will be a centerpiece for the 30th Anniversary celebration of the Air Jordan 6 silhouette.

No official release dates have been announced but they are expected to drop this year (2021) before Summer.

adidas NMD R1 Primeknit Duck Camo

Many will say that the adidas NMD R1 ship has sailed, but I’m really feeling them in this “Duck Camo / Pink” colorway.

As far as earth tones go, the duck camo is as earthy as it gets with all the right shades of brown and some green to make just a bit more interesting. The bright pink as an accent color looks so dope with the tans, especially because they didn’t over do it.

This pair also features the adidas slogan “3ストライプのブランド” which is Japanese for “Brand With 3 Stripes” in pink on both sides of the sneaker. The text on the inner half is bigger and stitched while for the outer half it appears on the front block of the midsole.

These are set to be released in the US on Thursday March 11th at 3am EST on the adidas website.

Nike Air Max 90 “Bacon” by DQM

Fans of the Air Max 90 will have another chance to bring home the bacon as the meat inspired colorway by Dave’s Quality Meat (DQM) returns in 2021 for the first time since its original release in 2004.

While the name of the shop and the bacon reference screams butcher shop, Dave’s Quality Meat is actually an iconic sneaker boutique in New York City, founded by David Ortiz (Formerly of Zoo York) and skater Chris Keefe.

The bacon-y red and pink against the base of dark and light brown make these a bit flashier prime cut on this list of earth tone kicks.

The butcher shop inspired packaging is not only a brilliant touch, it increases its appeal as a must-have in any Air Max collection.

Nike Air Max 90 “Bacon” drops on Air Max day, March 26th exclusively on the Nike SNKRS app.

sacai x Nike VaporWaffle “Blue Void”

Are we tired of the VaporWaffles yet? Not if they keep dropping fire colorways like these! The sacai x Nike VaporWaffle train rolls on and dips into the earth tones with the upcoming “Sesame” and “Blue Void” colorway.

The dark blue and light tan color combination really works for me, and the white midsole adds an extra visual punch to this silhouette.

Rumor has is they are set for a Spring 2021 release with official drop dates still TBA.

Nike Air Force 1 “Acorn”

Dunks are one of my all time favorites and on first glance I thought the Air Force 1 “Acorn” was a Dunk Low SB.

Nike has been bringing back older colorways with the Dunks and have been absolutely crushing it. While these are not Dunks, Nike is resurrecting previously released colorways for the AF 1’s as well like the “Acorn” which was first released back in 2002.

Simple is best as they say, and that’s the case with these AF 1’s which are comprised entirely in hues of caramel. The dark brown laces look so good in contrast with the lighter shades of brown featured on the body of the sneaker.

Mark down Thursday April 29th, 2021 because that’s when they’re dropping. Anyone else in the mood for some coffee ice cream and cookies?

Nike Air Max 95 “Cork”

This wouldn’t be a proper earth tone sneaker list without a pick from Nike’s plant-based series focused on sustainability, utilizing natural sources of dyes and other substances for manufacturing the footwear.

Nike first announced the dark blue version of the Air Max 95 “Cork” (which are fire by the way) followed by the cream and orange colorway shown here.

It’s called cork for a reason, starting with the tongue of the sneaker featuring an image of the cork plant along with loopers that run through the center made with real cork strips.

This is a really well designed pair of sneakers in my opinion, and my favorite part? The neon green on the insole. Just gives this wholesome pair a little bit of flair.

Look for these to drop around Summer of 2021.
