Aunt Owusuah, a Ghanaian grandmother has  burnt his grandson Left thumb because she  wanted to stop his grandson from Sucking his fingers. She accused the boy of cultivating an unhealthy habit of sucking his fingers and when he refuse to stop it she resulted into burning his fingers.

A neighbour who heard the poor boy crying confirmed the incident to News Gh,saying :

‘His mother and father had all left for farm and left him in the care of the granny who burnt the boy’s fingers. We reported the matter to the Enchi police who are currently investigating the matter.’ He said.

The father of the victim, Kofi Ghana said the mother in-law had initially stated her dislike for him prior to marrying her daughter, so he is not surprised by the act.
