Navneet Kaur Rana is a former Indian actress who mainly acted in Telugu cinema. She is an elected Member of Parliament from Amravati in 2019 Lok Sabha elections as an independent candidate. Navneet Kaur was born and raised in the Indian city of Mumbai, in Maharashtra. Both of her parents are of Punjabi descent, and her father worked for the army. Navneet Kaur is married to Ravi Rana. She graduated with a Bachelor of Technology in Television and Media from Punjabi University, Patiala.

After her marriage to Ravi Rana, she attempted a political career by running for the Nationalist Congress Party in the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections. Citing the reason for her defeat, she stated that she was up against indirectly Narendra Modi. He had rallied for the then winning candidate, Anandrao Adsul, at the election time.
She has spent Rs.65 lakh in this election as an independent candidate. However, Adsul had spent Rs.49 lakh in the previous two elections as a member of Parliament for a democratic process. Her triumph is widely seen as a significant success for an independent candidate in the Shiv Sena’s neglected stronghold of Vidarbha.
