Keep Your Baby Close With The Culla Belly Co-Sleeper

Having a newborn is one of the most wonderful, exciting and frightening event of our lives, we complete or form a family, we pass on the family name, knowledge, tradition, we form the future. Dealing with an infant is something that requires practice, experience and self confidence and as many books regarding child care we might read, when D-day comes it is up to our native instincts to react and do the proper things.

One of the concerns parents usually have to deal with is the sleeping patterns of a newborn and the exact nest they should prepare for the baby to sleep in. Newborns require tons of sleep during the day and night, up to 16-17 hours a day but never for more than two to four hours at a time during the first few weeks of life. This hectic sleeping pattern will affect both the parent and the child and you will most definitely be up 2-3 times a night to feed, change and calm and put the baby back to sleep.

Most parents buy cribs although on the first days allowing the infant to sleep in them seems too dangerous, what if they suffocate. To come to aid in this particular topic Italian designers Manuela Busetti and Andrea Garuti have created The Culla Belly Co-Sleeper, an ingenious safe alternative to the classical crib that opens up on one side and can be attached to the parents’ bed. The bed has a wooden base that is secured under the mattress of your bed, keeping it in place during night time.

The Culla Belly Cosleeper is very practical when it comes to having your baby next to you during those sleepless cried out nights, it offers the parents and the child alike a feeling of safety and comfort, knowing that your loved one is right next to you without the risk of rolling over the baby in your sleep and harming its tiny body.

The product , designed in seven available colors red, blue, green, orange, light blue, cream, and pink comes at a reasonable price of €390.00.

What do you think about this efficient new product? Is it something that, as future parents, you would consider purchasing? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below.
