MOCCA & ME QUICK LIST || Week 51/2015

Hello dears! It's that time again to share a quick list of fun and interesting links I stumbled upon lately. Hope you enjoy it and I hope you have a fabulous week!

Eye candy
This week's eye candy pick is this loverly kitchen. Love the white floor-to-ceiling cabinets and the floor. My favourite detail though is that kitchen island: industrial yet very retro with those wonderful geometrical patterned tiles. And those black stools look kick-ass in that kitchen.

Quick recipe
I was in Asia this summer and one of the countries I visited was Vietnam, and I fell in love with that country. I love the people and loved the food. I want to try this recipe for Vietnamese spring rolls one day. Looks easy enough and yummy.

Intrior and photography inspiration
Most of you know the Freunde von Freunden website with lovely interviews and pictures of interiors of creatives around the world. From time to time I like to wander back to the site to catch up on what's new. Here is an interview the Lisbon based photographer Carolina Pimienta and pictures of her home. Visit her website to check out some of her work.

Food for thought
This little clip will give us all something to think about. For all the girls and women. We all know, or are ourselves, someone who have been through some of this. And it's not okay. And for all the boys and men. It's not okay. Words and actions have consequences. Let's raise boys and girls to be respectful of themselves and others.

Home tour

Check out this colourful Parisian apartment on one of the most popular Dutch interior blogs, Interior Junkie. Although I don't prefer too much colour in my own home, I do enjoy this space.

Sound bites
I had to share this link with you! It's a talk from Elizabeth Gilbert, the author of the succesful book Eat, Pray, Love. I haven't read the book myself, but I have listened to her TED talk and interviews on creativity and passion. In this clip she makes a case against the quest to find our passion and encourages us to, instead, follow our curiosity! It has given me a wonderful new insight on how to look at life and people. So, I had to share :-) Let me know what you think.
