One of my favorite places to shop in Houston for unique design finds, antiques, furniture, art, and gifts is FOUND. Owned by my friends, Ruth Davis and Aaron Rambo, FOUND is the go-to destination for the chic-set and has garnered attention from publications including Architectural Digest, ELLE DECOR, House Beautiful, and most recently, Milieu who has featured Ruth’s house on its Spring 2017 issue. When Ruth and her husband Neil decided to move from their former Tudor Revival and build a sleek, modern house, they immediately turned to their business partner, Aaron who leads the creative endeavors at FOUND. Together, Aaron and Ruth designed a stunning home reflective of the signature style FOUND is known for, uniting pieces from varying provenances and styles and juxtaposing unexpected design details, colors, and textures resulting in a chic, interesting, and completely unique house. I have been a guest at several luncheons and cocktail parties at Ruth’s home over the past couple of years and have been waiting to see it featured in print for so long because it is such a special house.
