Bookkeeper / Accountant
Our client, located in Downtown Houston, TX is in immediate need of a Full Charge Bookkeeper for a Direct Hire opportunity.

Has been in business since 1981
Multiple entities 

Your Role:
Maintain General Ledger by processing journal entries, coding invoices and performing Account reconciliations
Assist in month and year end closings
Process Accounts Receivables
Process Accounts Payables
Maintain account records, reports, and spreadsheets
Prepare analysis of accounts, as required
Assist Corporate Financial Officer and accounting personnel as necessary
Answer customer inquiries regarding billing
Preform collection duties
Perform other duties as assigned

Background Profile:
Previous AP, AR, JE and account reconciliation experience
Minimum of 5 years of prior bookkeeping experience
Previous experience in a multi-division organization preferred
Proficiency in MS Office Programs
Previous experience working with Peachtree and QuickBooks would be ideal
Must have previously worked with an ERP
Previous experience with intercompany accounting would be helpful
