Startups ranged from number of domains right from EduTech to HealthTech, from FinTech to Data Sciences and displayed an amazing sense of business and innovation through their pitches.

Smoogs.io

Smoogs.io has created a brand new media player, which has a built-in micropayment system that lets customers pay while they stream content. “We took a hard look at the barriers standing between awesome content and potential paying customers, and broke them down”, Neha Murarks, the CEO & Co-Founder told the audience during her 120 seconds pitch.

With their platform, the content creators can engage a wider audience. Still in Beta Testing Phase, the media player is easily embeddable in every website and also handles all the payments, so that the content creator can focus on creating more awesome content! AHA is a cloud based eHealth solution provider for Healthcare providers with a focus on health intelligence that can be derived from the vast amount of data they collect and store.

It is an intelligent Health Assistance Platform that identifies health risks in real-time and alerts both the Doctor and Patient to take preventive and proactive clinical & lifestyle interventions powered through clinician lead Artificial Intelligence.

The company was founded in 2014 to develop world class digital health solutions with emphasis on managing people with chronic diseases such as Diabetes, Hypertension, Heart Disease, COPD, Depression and Motor Neuron Disease.

The startup aims to provide Clinicians with the tools they require to move away from a reactive care towards a more proactive and preventative model.

AHA is an amazing technology that combines HealthTech with AI, and thus, goes beyond the ability to just predict an upcoming event and provides the capability to do something about it.

Those Ltd.

One of the most creative startups from the domain of Connected Devices, Those Ltd. (or Joto, as their product is called), connects the physical and the digital worlds.

“We look at the web as a starting point rather than a destination”, as their co-founder Jamie very insightfully said.

At Those, the aim is to create a unique blend of product and interactive design. One of their products, Woodpecker is a unique drawing system that brings any surface to life. The Woodpecker draws, writes and even tweets with pens, pencil and paint.

From windows to walls, ceilings to floors, the Woodpecker can be customised to fit any space to create a rich and engaging user experience.

Those designed the Woodpecker to be lightweight, totally scalable and fast enough to be interactive.

Paylinko

While payment solutions and FinTech space seems to be a hit in London ecosystem, this was under startup which impressed us. Paylinko is simple – it allows you to get paid with a link. The easy user interface and minimalistic approach allows you to send or receive money by generating a link. With the likes of Transferwise (which is a London headquartered Unicorn) and PayPal providing simple money transfer approach (and PayTM, closer home, doing similar things), PayLinko seems to offer something which simplifies the process of money transfer even further. 

With disruptions in payment solution space not halting any time soon, it surely seems to be a bright domain in the near future.
