Greetings, Disney Fans and Holiday Decor Lovers!
Just this past weekend, my family and I stopped by Disney Springs to check out the holiday decorations and this year's all new
Christmas Tree Trail! Last year the Trail was a brand new offering and after much success, it has been brought back this year, and then some! This year's Trail is bigger and better, includes snowfall and is now home to Santa's chalet! So allow me to take you on a bit of a photo safari, through Disney Springs, to check out it's holiday makeover! Let's go...
We started our afternoon down in the West Side, where there was not only holiday decor, but also a celebration for Disney's upcoming release, 'Coco'!

In what used to be the "Pleasure Island" area, (and what I will probably
always refer to that area as), there's SO much construction going on! Between the work on the Edison and the new Wine Bar, there's lots of construction walls up, but no shortage of decorations, either!

At this point, we had been at
Disney Springs for almost an hour and my 5 year old hadn't yet had a 'treat', so we had to head for Goofy's Candy Company next! So much amazing stuff to choose from...

Since we now found ourselves behind the Days of Christmas store, we went ahead and explored the Christmas
Tree Trail starting there. For those of you that did not get a chance to see it last year, the trail is a walking path full of holiday trees, themed to various Disney characters or movies. You can enter from either behind the Christmas store, or from between Once Upon a Toy and Earl of Sandwich, though I think it's more set up to be started in the latter of the two locations. The Trail is lit up at night and always features intermittent "snow" showers. There are Photopass photographers at some of the more popular trees, to snap pictures that actually have ALL of your family members in them. There's also a snack and merchandise stand in the middle, (of course), and brand new this year, it's also where you'll be able to meet the big man himself. Santa's Chalet is a meet and greet area where you DON'T have to wait in line! They use a system much like FastPass, so that you can enjoy the Trail and other offerings at Disney Springs, and return to the Chalet when it is your turn, and have a minimal wait time. Pretty sweet way to do it!

Alice In Wonderland Tree: Look for mushrooms, Cheshire Cat's smile,
a giant pocket watch, white roses painted red, tea cups, keys and Hatter's hat! |

Mary Poppins Tree: Look for daisies and cherries, chimney brooms,
penguins, Jane and Michael's kite, Mary;'s umbrella, carousel horses and robins. |

Mulan Tree: Look for cherry blossoms, dragon kites, lanterns,
fans, KriKi's cage and the Emperor's medallion. |
|
The Muppets Tree: Look for lots of silly faces, Piggy's pearls, stars,
music notes, and Animal's drum set. |
|
| Jungle Book Tree: Bananas, coconuts, prickly pears foot prints and paw prints and Kaa slithering around. |
|
Lilo and Stitch Tree: Look for "Ohana", leis, Hawaiian shirts, Elvis records,
Lilo's doll, flip flops, a ukulele and a surfboard. |

Peter Pan Tree: Look for pirate swords, Michael's teddy bear, drums,
a pirate ship, mermaids and Peter's hat. |
|
Tangled Tree: Look for flowers, Rapunzel's braid, lanterns, a frying pan,
books and painting supplies. |
|
Dumbo Tree: Look for the pachyderm's trunk and ears, Casey Jr train,
peanuts and popcorn, drums, a giraffe, a lion and a tiger. |
|
Robin Hood Tree: Look for arrows, targets, bundles of gold, a Wanted poster
and Prince John's crown. |
|
Villains Tree: Look for spell books, a raven, a magic mirror,
poison apples, Maleficent's horns and Ursula's tentacles. |
|
Fantasia Tree: Look for brooms, a lightning bolt, bubbles, mushrooms,
buckets of water, flamingos, Sorcerer Mickey's hat, and mermaids. |

101 Dalmatians Tree: Look for collars and leashes, Cruella's hand, TVs,
boxes of Kanine Krunchies, dog treats and dalmatian spots. |
|
Pinocchio Tree: Look for the wishing star, school books, a fiddle,
marionette strings, a pirate ship, Geppetto's raft and Pinocchio's hat. |
|
Cinderella Tree: Look for a swan, a pumpkin, clocks, a carriage,
trumpets, keys and (of course) the glass slipper. |
|
Snow White Tree: Look for woodland creatures, flowers, poison apples,
a magic mirror, gems, lanterns and mining tools. |
|
Frozen Tree: Look for ice skates, a reindeer, carrots, snowflakes,
Elsa and lots of ice! |
|
Beauty and the Beast Tree: Look for gears, books, clocks, candles, chandeliers,
paintings, roses, Mrs. Potts, Cogsworth and Lumiere. |
|
Sleeping Beauty Tree: Look for Maleficent's staff, a sword, spindles,
spinning wheel, balls of thread, butterflies and the fairies' hats. |
|
Little Mermaid Tree: Look for dinglehoppers, snarfblats, fish, bubbles,
a mirror, Triton's staff, binoculars, a treasure chest and starfish. |
|
Princess and the Frog Tree: Look for Mardi Gras beads, masquerade masks,
magnolias, Tiana and trumpets. |
|
Pluto Tree: Look for dog bowls, leashes, collars, Mickey Waffle dog toy,
a dog house, Mickey ears, and Minnie's bow. |
|
Mickey and Minnie Tree: Look for Minnie's bow, a polka dot poinsettia, Mickey's glove,
Mickey's pants-print bows. |
|
| And finally, the Disney Springs Tree, with a tag for each business housed in the Springs. |

| Oh, and we bought this super cute popcorn bucket on the Trail! |

And at the beginning, (or end, in our case), of the trail, you'll see the Marketplace's
regular Christmas Tree. |
Back in the Town Center section of the Springs, the decor is less Disney and more upscale shopping mall. I mean, personally, I
always decorate with chandeliers, but that mights just be me and Disney Springs. (wink)
