Arsenal have reportedly agreed to pay a whopping amount of $34m to sign Borussia Star Granit Xhaka, as a transfer window opens this summer.

Granit Xhaka has been heavily linked for a move to Arsenal throughout the week, and Sky Sports Germany have been first to break the news as they confirm that Arsene Wenger has met with player’s father to discuss a potential move.
The Swiss star has also stated his desires to play in England over the last few months, and it can be understood that he knew about Arsenal’s potential interest in him.

But, on the other hand, there is a bad news for Arsenal fans!

Barcelona want to acquire the services of Mesut Ozil this summer, as they line up to Offer Munir El Haddadi, Ramirez and Arda Turan to complete the offer, as the reports say in Spain.

The 27 year old star joined back in 2013 in a recorded fee of $42.5 million from Spanish giants Real Madrid. However, Los Blancos have a clause inserted in the contract, which means Zidane’s superstar team has the first-refusal before Gunners accept any offer from any other side.

According to AS, Barcelona are aware of the clause, and they are confident to hold up a deal if they offer number of players in return.

Even though Ozil has closed down the speculation that he was seeking move elsewhere this summer, but a chance to supply goals to Magic MSN (Messi, Suarez and Neymar) would be too difficult to turn down. But, it is unlikely that Wenger would let go of the superstar just for the sake of number of players, and would prefer getting an excess of fee, which Gunners paid three years go.
