NASIR On Thursday (Nov. 15), he released the Nasir short film in support of his eleventh studio album by the same name, which dropped back in June as part of Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music summer rollout. The 16-minute clip implements vocals from each of the seven tracks featured on Nasir, but delves deeper into peeling back the layers regarding of injustice, historical oversights, social and economic issues severely hampering the minority communities. Nas candidly shed light on police brutality, which was a frequent theme used throughout the album on tracks such as "Cops Shot the Kid."
