Every other week, I share a Color Crush Color Palette here on the Barbara Gilbert Interiors blog. It’s so fun! This week, I’ve chosen a gorgeous hawk as a jumping off point. At first glance, this bird of prey seems to have only a few colors. But look closer and you’ll see so many beautiful hues in her feathers and beak.

This Color Crush color palette would create an earthy, serene feel in any room — I’ve found that the colors from nature often do just that. I think the taupe-gray shades would be great neutrals, paired with the blue and green. The purple and orange could be perfect pops of color.
