What’s It About?

The Book is all about afterlife communication, but you can take this in the broadest sense of the word. It even elaborates on the dangers and hazards of such communication, which is often left out in most guides for mediums and readers with an overall interest in spirituality. Fortunately, it is very much included in Deadly Departed.

About the Author

Deadly Departed is written by Jock Brocas, a well-known evidential medium, and spirit interventionist. Having years of experience with afterlife communication, it is no surprise he wrote this book.

I must mention that Deadly Departed is just one of his latest books. In addition to Deadly Departed, he has also written books such as Powers Of The Sixth Sense, The Everything Guide To Past Life Experience, and The Books Of Six Rings. So, if Deadly Departed has conquered a permanent spot on your bookcase, it could be a good idea to check out his other titles too.

Who’s It For?

It should be seen as a guide for aspiring mediums, but also paranormal investigators and researchers. Do not be fooled though, this book is not only suitable for professionals whose job description lies in the paranormal world. In fact, I am not a medium, yet I found this book extremely interesting. It honestly redefined what I believed to be the afterlife.

What’s Good About It?

I could rant and rave about this book for hours, but I will try to keep it short for our valued readers.

One of the things that stood out most to me about this book is how approachable it is. When I read any book about this afterlife, I always feel like the author is looking down on me, being an all-knowing entity if you will. I did not get this feeling with Deadly Departed.

Deadly Departed gives you a down-to-earth look at afterlife communication. However, it certainly does not embellish the dangers involved in afterlife communication either. There are many guides out there for aspiring mediums and some of them are all too happy to keep silent about the dangers of this type of communication. Fortunately, Jock covers those dangers and hazards in a lot of detail.

Another thing I love about this book is the presence of many personal experiences. When you read a guide about being a medium, general examples is the last thing you need. So, there is nothing like personal experience to make things more in-depth.

Finally, I love how Deadly Departed mentions some of the personal struggles the author has faced. Being a medium can be hard, especially in a world of doubters, who do not believe anything they cannot see or touch. Jock Brocas explains this phenomenon beautifully in his book, giving mediums around the world support as well as understanding.

My Verdict

Honestly, this is one of the best books on afterlife communication I have read in my lifetime. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to make their first steps in the world of afterlife communication, but also anyone who is already engulfed in this profession. Of course, it is also a wonderful read for people with an interest in the paranormal overall. So, next time you are looking for an interesting book on the paranormal, be sure to pick up your copy of Deadly Departed.
