Zoo Atlanta – An Amazing Animal Experience !

Zoo Atlanta is an Association of Zoos and Aquariums accredited zoological park in Atlanta, Georgia. It is currently operated by Raymond B. King. It is home to a variety of species, from African lions to Tasmanian devils. It is open to the public every day except December 25 and January 1, when the park is closed. More than one million visitors visit the park each year, making it a popular family destination.

The Atlanta Zoo is a unique experience that you and your family can enjoy. It is a place where you can meet giant pandas, the largest population of great apes in North America, and a global center of excellence for reptiles and amphibians. Zoo Atlanta is Atlanta’s oldest attraction, beginning as a traveling circus left animals behind near downtown Atlanta. More than a century later, it evolved into a world-class operation with the addition of the Ford African Rain Forest and the Giant Panda exhibits. The zoo is located just east of Fulton Street, near Georgia Avenue and Cherokee Avenue.

There are two main parking facilities at Zoo Atlanta. The main parking facility is located at 800 Cherokee Avenue, and the visitor parking garage is located at 759 Boulevard. Both of these structures are owned and operated by the City of Atlanta. Zoo Atlanta offers free parking on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. You can also park for free in the visitor parking lot on Cherokee Avenue. However, these spaces are limited. Therefore, it is best to arrive early if you want to find a spot.
