According to Cat Radio and Diario Sport, Gerard Pique has agreed to cancel his current contract and sign a new one with reduced wage.
Barcelona's lawyers have found 'signs of criminality' in the deal he signed in 2020 when Bartomeu was in charge.
The club asked Pique, as well as De Jong, Ter Stegen and Lenglet to void their current deals and revert to the old ones. So far only Gerard has agreed to do this.
According to Gerard Romero, lowering the veteran centre-back's wages would help Barcelona Register new signings.
