Haim Eshed, the former head of Israel’s Defense Ministry’s space directorate recently claimed that Aliens are real, that American astronauts have signed an agreement with them, and that former US President Donald Trump knew about it.

He made a very controversial claim that the aliens have a “galactic federation” of their own and that Israel and the US have kept in touch with them. Apparently, this “Galactic Federation” has been in contact for years, but is keeping themselves a secret so as to avoid hysteria.

Eshed further added that President Donald Trump was aware of the extraterrestrials’ presence, the existence of a “Galactic Federation” and that Israel and the US have been dealing with aliens for quite some time now. He added, “The cooperation includes a secret underground base in the depths of Mars, where there are American and alien representatives”.

Recently in an interview to Israel’s Yediot Aharonot newspaper, Eshed said that the Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) have urged not to disclose their identity because humanity is not ready still and could create panic amidst the masses. According to him, the aliens were equally curious about humanity and were seeking to understand the nature of the universe.

A lot of jokes have been made reacting to the mental state of an octogenarian, Eshed’s claims. In a new book written by author Hagar Yanai, named “The Universe Beyond the Horizon: Conversations With Prof. Haim Eshed” ideas on space, including the presence of aliens have been portrayed in an explicit manner.

British journalist Nick Pope is of the opinion that this is some sort of practical joke or publicity stunt to help sell his book. Earlier, Nick had also investigated UFOs for a now-obsolete British Ministry of Defence division. In line with Isaac Ben-Israel, head of the Israel Space Agency, Eshed’s seriousness shouldn’t be questioned or dismissed as a crank.

“I’ve known Haim Eshed for about 50 years, and he was always a visionary and very creative. But sometimes creativity comes with ideas that are not accepted by others. One of these relates to UFOs and intelligent extraterrestrial creatures.” he said.

Ben believes that the chances of extraterrestrial life are extremely high, although claiming aliens have arrived on Earth might be taking things a bit too far. He further added “Eshed has been talking about aliens for decades now and it never compromised his academic integrity. If I would have to choose one person to be called the father of Israel’s space capabilities, it would always be Haim Eshed”

As space exploration has increased, it has become largely acceptable over the past few decades for serious scientists to believe in the concept of aliens. However, there has not been solid proof of any such physical encounter between humans and aliens.

Truth or not, the curiosity for an alien encounter has always been there since time immemorial. The mere existence of aliens has been a hot topic of debate for years now and while there have been some instances that might indicate their presence in outer space, most people still believe it to be untrue due to the lack of concrete information.

It is very difficult to ignore such statements coming from Haim Eshed, who has been working with space security for decades. However, absolute faith in the existence of aliens will need some solid information or a formal announcement by the government. Until now, the US government has not made any statement regarding the news.

Recently, the discovery of a gas ‘phosphine’ on Venus triggered the possibility of alien life in the neighbouring planet. On our planet, the concept so far is riddled with UFO sightings and conspiracy theories at most.

A spokesperson for NASA said one of their primary goals was the search for life in outer space. However, there haven’t been any prominent signs of extraterrestrial life discovered to date. “NASA is exploring the solar system and beyond to help us answer fundamental questions, including whether we are alone in the universe,” the spokesperson said.
