Whether it’s a freelancer, employee, independent contractor, or social medial influencer we strongly believe in paying creators for their work. Part of this is due to my own personal journey as a content creator. I know how hard it is to come up with new content on a regular basis, build a community, and buying the supplies needed to realize your vision. Our team is hard at work brainstorming and working to build not only a great store for you but a place where all of your nerdy passions can be realized. What is Patreon

Being a content creator is a dream profession for many. Many individuals that choose this career path have dreams of making a living doing the things they enjoy. Whether this is vlogging about their favorite dining restaurants, or drawing their own unique comic book or cartoon creations. This career choice is no different than any other. It has its own set of challenges and obstacles to overcome. Not every creator has a financial challenge, but keep in mind, that many of them only generate income after they have amassed a large number of fans. There are opportunities from them to create income from themselves via ad revenue or sponsorships, but many companies are not willing to invest in smaller influencers. Patreon is a great solution to this problem. Patreon is an online platform where an individual can financially support or tip their favorite artist, business, or content creators. This is why we have decided to create a Patreon page for anyone that wants to support our business or our content creators. 

Three Levels of Support 

For those of you that purchase merchandise from our online store, Thank you! Your support in our online store over the last year and a half has been absolutely amazing! It has allowed us to bring on additional team members, and increase the number of suppliers we offer to bring you high-quality merchandise. Supporting us through Patreon is completely optional, so please don’t feel pressured to do so. You may continue to purchase merchandise and follow us on social media so none of those features will change. 

On our Patreon page, we’ve decided to add three levels of support for those that are interested. The first level is the Support Our Staff Tier. This tier is the entry-level tier, and 100% of this tier goes to our creators. This is on top of whatever we compensate them internally. This is a way you can tip them, and let them know you appreciate the hard work they are doing. Our staff works to update our blog, design our site, and answer customer queries. Let them know you appreciate them on this tier. Joining this tier also provides the below additional benefits. 

• Access to Patreon only posts 
• Good Karma - Feel good about where your support is going. 

The second level we have labeled our Hero Tier. This tier goes towards Animated Apparel Company. This tier is there to help keep the lights on and helps increase our product offerings to our customers. Being part of this tier has the below benefits: 

• Everything in the first tier
• An exclusive discount on your next purchase 
• We will create content based on your suggestions 

The third tier is our VIP Partner level. At $50 per month, this is the most expensive tier. To appreciate those at this tier we have added the below benefits. 

• Everything in the first two tiers 
• VIP Access to behind the scenes content 
• You will receive a Mystery Box from our store each month.
