15 Years Of YouTube! It All Started With Fuzzy Clip!!!

Late on the night of February 14, 2005, Javed Karim, Chad Hurley and Steve Chen registered the Youtube.com website. Two months later, when the first video was uploaded (Karim briefly described the elephant enclosure at the San Diego Zoo), a platform that changed the world was launched. Today, more than 2 billion of us Visit Youtube every month, and 500 hours of footage are loaded every minute.  This is far from the 18-second video that started it.  Its stars are billionaires: the most successful YouTube fundraiser in 2019 was Ryan, eight, who raised 26 meters.  The number of creators who earn five or six figures has increased by more than 40% in a year.

At first, users earned a few hundred pounds for mentioning products in their videos;  Now they can earn hundreds of thousands and more through exclusive brand offers.  Many people do not like to talk about their income: it makes them less reliable.

The audience scale has also increased.  The site took eight years to reach one billion monthly users and another seven to reach 2,000 million.  There are 65% more channels with more than 1 million subscribers compared to the previous year;  In the last three years, the number of channels with more than one billion visits multiplied by five.

As more money and more eyeballs have entered the framework, the level of competition has increased.  What was once a site for fans became mini Hollywood, with a large team of employees producing content for fans to demand.
