The Suicide Squad confirms a team-up between Harley Quinn of Margot Robbie and Idris Elba’s new yet unconfirmed character. As the shooting of the highly anticipated film begins, more videos have reached the Internet. Fans are especially excited by this film, as famous director James Gunn takes over the franchise. Fans and critics had issues with Ayer’s film, also named the Suicide Squad, but that film introduced Harley Quinn’s favorite fan to the DCEU.

Since then, Robbie’s character has become famous enough to anchor a new film, Birds of Prey. This features the titular Prey Birds, aside from Harley Quinn: Huntress, Black Canary, and Renee Montoya. The film did not did as expected at the box office but was generally received with great satisfaction by both critics and viewers. Birds of Prey is the second Harley Quinn appearance of Robbie, giving the Suicide Squad the third next year.

The new set video from The Suicide Squad was shared by Twitter user Calito Arauz (via DC Movie News). The video shows several people running away from something only to the characters of Robbie and Elba. Although the role of Elba has not yet been verified, reports suggest that he plays Vigilante. Only last week, a video appeared to him in makeup, but this image provides a better look. Two other roles of Robbie and Elba are played by David Dastmalchian, one of whom might be Polka-Dot Man. The second might be Ratcatcher (Daniela Melchior).

Cast Of The Suicide Squad

In addition to Robbie and Elba, the Suicide Squad will feature a variety of other stars. Some of them will come back from the first movie, including Viola Davis and Amanda Waller, and Joel Kinnaman. Nathan Fillion, Sean Gunn, and Taika Waititi, all of whom also took part in the MCU, are new stars in the film. Many of those new to the DCEU have been introduced as characters. Nevertheless, this is likely to change as the film reaches its release date of August 6, 2021.

Set videos for superhero movies like The Suicide Squad are fun for fans in particular. Because they are the first time that they can see actors in costumes and the characters with which they communicate. Since the role of Elba is not yet officially confirmed, set videos are particularly impressed with him.
