Pencils of Promise is a for-purpose organization that strives to increase education in Laos, Guatemala, and Ghana.”Today, I am starting a campaign with [Pencils of Promise] to make a school,” Walker, 20, wrote on Instagram. “This is the season of giving and my biggest desire is to give a space for these kids to learn. Walker has already gathered more than $11,000 of her $50,000 goal for launching her fundraiser. She dedicated the fundraiser to her late dad.“This is the season of presenting. Do Good, is something that is very important to me,” Walker wrote on her fundraising side. “Even $1 can make a large difference in providing kids with a space to learn and grow.
Education, all of the knowledge that you have got, is something that can never be carried away from you. This year, making this school is the one thing on my Christmas list. In addition, I would like to assign this school to my father, Paul Walker.”Walker has long displayed a desire to maintain her father’s charitable causes since his shocking death.
She supported The Paul Walker Foundation
She helped establish The Paul Walker Foundation, which expects to support “ocean leaders of tomorrow become lights in the fight to defend our oceans, wildlife, and ourselves.”Walker started the Paul Walker Foundation in 2015, on the day that would have been her father’s birthday.
Paul Walker and driver Roger Rodas passed away in a single-car high-speed car crash in Santa Clarita, California in 2013. The actor was 40 years old. At the time of his death, Walker was in the middle of working on Furious 7, which was released in 2015 and starred his last look in the movie.
