A Texas man told in a jailhouse discussion with a local news report that he killed his Wife but the shots “didn’t even phase her.”

“This happened this way,” Edward Pautenis, 59, told the news report as he snapped his fingers. The station publicized the meeting Thursday, a day after his capture for the murder of his 29-year-old wife Jennifer Pautenis.

“So I bam, bam, bam shot her,” the bound Pautenis said the position. “That didn’t stage her.”

He guaranteed he shot her with a .22 gauge handgun, a .22 bore rifle and a third weapon, during a dispute.

“I realize I shot her,” he said. “I realize she was shot. Did I miss?”

Pautenis included: “The more she continued coming at me and I just stayed there and shot her. Pow.”

Pautenis said he told the kids he and their mom were playing a Halloween trick when they asked what occurred, the reports revealed.

He drove officials to the body subsequent to being captured, the news reports revealed.

Pautenis had detailed his wife missing Oct. 21, telling specialists she had run off a very long time previously. Her companions never accepted she would abandon her two kids, the station reported Friday.

“I accept he’s a ruthless killer,” Hood County Sheriff Roger Deeds told the station. “Perhaps his temper got to him that day. We won’t know but you don’t get three different weapons just to ensure you take care of business.”
