Ashley Jacobs of Southern Charm has a new boyfriend: ‘Someone found me closer to my age’

Ashley Jacobs has officially moved after her separation from Thomas Ravenel.

A year after the Southern Charm duo separated, Jacob found love with his boyfriend Mike Epple. On Monday, Bravo’s personality introduced his new boyfriend to make his relationship official for his Instagram followers.

“I found someone close to my age really!! someone” wrote Jacobs, “And our birthday is just one day! Happy birthday to this pretty girl,” Jacobs wrote with a smiling image of him and Appel. “Thanks for giving me a smile!”

Jacobs gave the birthday boy some love in his Instagram stories, where he called Appel a “muffin.”

“Since you were born this world became a better place,” Jacob wrote with a blue-hearted emoji. “Happy birthday, Stud Muffin!!!”

Appel is co-founder and marketing director of Related Apparel, “a Milan-themed apparel company focused on creating designer clothing that is coordinated”

His new romance comes months after Jacob talked about his previous relationship with Ravenel, whom he had met in August 2018 after more than a year.

When they met in the spring of 2017, Jacobs reported, he was looking for a change.

“I came back for a while [Charleston, South Carolina] to meet him and thought if I could do this.” He explained. “It’s a big city, I’m a registered nurse. I can work wherever I want … I know someone who is not in a reality show but is in a city where I return. I can sit and take it around me, and show me the better places to live, the best places to eat. And, I like this person. ”

Jacobs joined the cast of Southern Charm as Ravenel’s girlfriend and fought openly with Catherine Dennis, Ravenel’s ex and the mother of their two children, which caused a great drama.
