A sad boyfriend killed himself on Railway Tracks only six days after his sweetheart’s suicide left him ‘shattered’, as his mom says he was a ‘superb son’.

Adam Howarth and Chloe Spencer had been in an 11-month relationship.

He was expected to go out on the town with her on June 21, however, she canceled to go with another man.

Chloe, 27, was found hanged the next morning and it was accepted she had sent a text message to Adam, 29, only two hours before her body was discovered at a property in Wigan, Greater Manchester.

After six days Adam, who was employed as a warehouse laborer, attempted onto railway tracks close to his home in Wigan and stepped into the way of a Train, an investigation has heard.

Police accept he attempted to jump off the path at the last minute yet was struck by the train and died on from various wounds.

Details of the dual tragedy in June this year received at Bolton Coroner’s Court where separate investigations into the couple’s deaths were held around the same time.

In the week leading to his death, he was broken after his girlfriend’s death.

There was some specifying already that he lost himself from his dad’s gallery, at that point, it would be quick.

In any case, he had plans for the future, he had recently been offered another employment opportunity and he intended to meet up with certain friends the following day.’

Tragically he died on the railway track having battled to adapt to the unexpected passing of his girlfriend.
