The Real Breaking Bad! Two Chemistry Professors Booked For Cooking ‘Narcotics’ In College Lab

On Friday, at Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, two chemistry professors were arrested and charged with making narcotics in their college lab.

Terry David Bateman, 45-year-old, Research Chemistry Director, and Assistant Professor Bradley Allen Rowland, 40-year-old — both pf them are PhDs — were put on administrative leave pending the investigation on October 11, 3 days after the school’s Reynolds Science Center was closed down and evacuated when staff member reported “an undetermined chemical odor,” according to a source.

The school’s Reynolds Science Center was again reopened on October 29 after an environmental services company finished remedial work and it fitted all the Environmental Protection Agency requirements,  the university’s associate vice president of marketing and communications Tina Hall stated, a source reported.

Hall did not directly attach the two professors Terry David Bateman and Bradley Allen Rowland to the narcotic or verify that the odor in the Reynolds building was from cooking meth, but the Clark County Sheriff’s Office stated that Rowland and Bateman have been charged with producing the narcotic and using narcotic paraphernalia.

The arrests simply drew similarities to the AMC series “Breaking Bad,” starring Bryan Cranston as high school chemistry teacher Walter White, who starts making narcotics to make ends meet when he found out that he is being diagnosed with cancer.
