A 30-year-old Crestview area occupant is accused of two counts of planned murder in the death of his mom and father early Wednesday morning.

30-year old Jacob Daniel Price entered the Crestview Police Department room soon after four a.m. with blood on his shirt and said he had shot his parents and two family dogs.

Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office agents who went to the scene found 51-year old Jolene Price and 56-year old Robert Price died in the main room of their home at 6269 Equine Drive.

Two died dogs were likewise found at the house, alongside two German Shepherds that were safe.

Notwithstanding the murder charges Price additionally faces two tallies of annoying animal cruelty.

The motivation for aggressive behavior at homestays under investigation.

The First Judicial Circuit Medical Examiner’s Office will lead analyses.
