Man City vs United: We are up for the task – Solskjaer

Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has said his side won’t be waiting just in vain for Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City to trample them on Saturday’s derby.

Ole said it took him years to play in the Derby following City’s relegation between April 1996 and November 2000.

Solskjaer joined United in 1996 and did not play in his first derby until April 2001.

“At least we play every year now.

“It took many years before I played a Manchester derby myself. It’s changed in a way. Man City are a better team now than when I was playing.

“Manchester derbies are always special games but you can’t say it matters more. For the fans, of course. We’re up for it,” Solskjaer told reporters on Friday.
