Nigerian Super Eagles have made a good start to the Africa Cup of Nations (2021 AFCON) qualification campaign with a 2-1 win over Squirrels of Benin Republic on Wednesday.
The Super Eagles came from a goal down, after the Squirrels opened scoring at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, when Stéphane Sessègnon capitalized on Nigerian defensive error to make it 1-0.
However, Victor Osimhen converted a spot kick to make it 1-1, shortly before half time.
Samuel Kalu grabbed the winner, with a fine solo goal.
Up next in the 2021 Afcon qualification, Nigeria will now take on Lesotho on Sunday in their next Sunday.
