It was also mentioned that it includes both conventional prepaid debit card functionality as well as a blockchain wallet depending on the Wi-fi. The technology even claimed that there would not be any waiting which generally happens for large transactions, but instead would all happen in an instant. 

Now if we go by the news about the recent statement by the company, it states that this isn’t an official announcement and anything about this news should not be believed. There have been many agencies that have tried contacting them about the news, one of them being the Ledger Insights, but the company always stated that there isn’t any confirmation for the same. One of the responses, which the company provided via mail was: 

 “We are not aware of anything written in this article.”

The SoftBank press department is still confirming from where the announcement was sent and to investigate. The news could also be called a fake one, because the corporation’s site where all the announcements are publicly available to all now shows a 404 error which is a huge thing to think about, for a company like this. 

This mystery remains yet unresolved, and the investigation continues.
