TCS founder Faquir Chand Kohli was born in Peshawar on 28 February 1924. He was raised in Peshawar and completed his studies from Pakistan itself. The TCS founder moved abroad for further studies and worked for a reputed firm in New York. Later, he came back to India and began working for Tata Electric Companies in the year 1951. He soon took over the position of director of this department and introduced computers in the functionalities of the company.
