Biopic on the journey of PM Narendra Modi is all on his way for release. PM Narendra Modi biopic traces the journey of Narendra Modi from being a Chaiwala (as he is commonly referred) to becoming the Prime Minister of the country. Actor Vivek Oberoi who will be seen playing the role of the Prime Minister, calls it a role of a lifetime.

In an interview on screen Narendra Modi, Vivek Oberoi added about doing this veteran role of his career, he said “Narendra Modi is one of the tallest leaders in the world and to bring his personal qualities on screen is an incredible challenge and I want all your blessings that we can complete this incredible journey”.The film also stars Boman Irani, Manoj Joshi, Prashant Narayan, Barkha Sengupta and Zarina Wahab in vital roles.

PM Narendra Modi biopic will be directed by Omung Kumar, who is credited for directing Mary Kom and Sarbjit. Vivek’s father and actor Suresh Oberoi, is co-producing the film along with Sandeep S. Singh. Vivek says, “Many people thought that a film on Narendra Modi should be made but eventually, Sandip Singh went ahead and made it.” The film’s poster was launched in the presence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in 27 languages.

It showed Vivek in a yellow kurta with the Tricolour in the backdrop. The tagline reads, “Deshbhakti hi meri shakti hai [Patriotism is my strength].” The film is yet to go on floors. PM Narendra Modi, featuring Vivek Oberoi in the lead role, was slated to hit the theatres on April 11, the same day that the first phase of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections kicked off. However, on April 10, the EC stayed the release of the biopic till the polling ends, on the grounds that it disturbs the level-playing field.
