Valentine Hand Shaped Card

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and I have a bunch of ideas mainly to use up Washi Tape.  However, this hand shaped greeting card only uses a tiny bit of washi tape.

Step One:  Fold a piece of Cardstock in half vertically and place your hand right next to the fold and trace the outline on the cardstock. With the cardstock still folded, cut the shape for a front and back.

Step Two:  (OPTIONAL) Paint the front of the hand flesh colored and when it is dry, decorate with glitter glue and rhinestone jewelry plus paint on fingernails.  If you don’t want to paint you can use colored cardstock.

Step Three:  Cut out a cardstock heart and cover it with washi tape.  Fold the heart in half and run a THIN bead of hot glue to attach it to the inside fold of the card as shown.

Step Four:  Print out the words and attach them to the inside bottom.

Make sure the hand will fit your envelope.  I cut the wrist to make sure my hand shape fit my A7 envelope.
