Topic- WHAT REAL SERVANTHOOD IS

(FROM SEPTEMBER 2017 SEEDS OF DESTINY DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY DR. PASTOR PAUL ENENCHE)

SCRIPTURE: For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption. Acts 13:36.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: A servant is someone who is not struggling for limelight or the attention of men.

In the previous days, we have been looking at qualities that attract the anointing to a person’s life using the life of David as a case study.

We saw that servanthood attracts the anointing on a person’s life. It was established that the anointing does not flow on the heads of masters.
The question to ask is, what is servanthood?

Servanthood means a life given to service; it is a life of absolute humility. It is not possible to be a proud person and claim to be a servant at the same time.

Secondly, servanthood means a life that does not struggle for visibility and popularity; a servant is someone who is not struggling for limelight or the attention of men.
All the brothers of David may have struggled for people’s attention but David was at the background where nobody could easily see him; nobody knew much about his existence.

Furthermore, servanthood means being satisfied with contributing to the enhancement of the lives of people around you; it is being satisfied with solution provision.

Beloved, make up your mind to serve in order to attract the anointing.

Remember this: A servant is someone who is not struggling for limelight or the attention of men.

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Ask God for the impartation of the spirit of humility.
2. Ask God to deal with every trace of pride in your life that will rob you of service.
3. Practice servant-hood by serving the people around you.

PRAYER: O LORD, clothe me with the garment of humility and service in Jesus’ Name.

SEEDS OF DESTINY IN SPANISH: SEMILLA DE DESTINO

VIERNES, 22 DE SEPTIEMBRE DE 2017.TEMA: CUAN REAL SERVIDUMBRE ES.

LA ESCRITURA: Porque a la verdad David, habiendo servido a su propia generación según la voluntad de Dios, durmió, y fue reunido con sus padres, y vio corrupción. HECHOS 13:36.

PENSAMIENTO PARA EL DÍA: Un siervo es alguien que no está luchando por la publicidad o la atención de los hombres.

En los días pasados, hemos estado mirando a las cualidades que atraen la unción en la vida de una persona usando la vida de David como un caso de estudio.
Vimos que la servidumbre atrae la unción en la vida de una persona. Fue establecido que la unción no fluye sobre la cabeza de los amos.
La pregunta que se debe hacer es, ¿qué es servidumbre?

Servidumbre significa una vida dada al servicio; Es una vida de absoluta humildad. No es posible ser una persona orgullosa y pretender ser un sirviente al mismo tiempo. Seeds of Destiny Friday, 22 September 2017

En segundo lugar, servidumbre significa una vida que no lucha por la visibilidad y la popularidad; Un siervo es alguien que no está luchando por publicidad o por la atención de los hombres.

Puede que todos los hermanos de David estaban luchando por la atención de la gente, pero David estaba detrás del escenario donde nadie podía verlo fácilmente; Nadie sabía que existía.

Además, servidumbre significa estar satisfecho con contribuir a la mejoría de la vida de las personas que le rodean a usted; es estar satisfecho con proveer solución.

Amado, decídase a servir para atraer la unción.

Recuerde esto: Un servidor es alguien que no está luchando por publicidad o por la atención de los hombres.

TAREA(S):
1. Pídale a Dios por la impartición del espíritu de humildad.
2. Pídale a Dios que trate de cada rastro de orgullo en su vida que le robe el servicio.
3. Practique la servidumbre sirviendo a la gente que le rodea.
