A DISGRACED teacher killed himself after his colleagues found out about his relationship with a teen student.

Stanislav Tran, 40, and his 18-year-old pupil Alisa Shapkarina spent endless nights together at his apartment in St Petersburg, Russia, during their one-year relationship.

After Alisa dumped her boyfriend to be with him, the 40-year-old whisked her away on holiday to Crimea, where he is said to have proposed.

After accepting his proposal, the smitten teen introduced him to her horrified parents. But they pleaded with her to end the relationship.

It was only when her ex returned from the army, and found out that she was dating Tran, that things came to an end.

He assaulted the Teacher and forbade Alisa from ever seeing him again.

The 40-year-old whisked Alisa to Crimea and proposed to her after she dumped her soldier boyfriend for him.

Tran was horrified once he returned to work, as his colleagues had learned about his relationship and found out he could be sacked.

Fearing for his jobless future without the teen, he penned a suicide note to his mum, apologising to the student who he declared as the love of his life, before he hung  himself.

Now his former students have come out in support of the teacher.

Alisa’s relationship with Tran ended once her ex had returned from the army and assaulted the teacher.

One student posted a drawing on social media alongside a poem calling their late teacher caring and understanding.

Commenting on social media Netizen Borisa Varzar said: “This is a tragic story. On one hand he should have realised that it was very unlikely that their relationship would work.

“But on the other it looks like he fell in love for real for the very first time and could not handle his feelings.”

There has been no official statement from the school.
