It's late, you can’t sleep and you have just hit an advert on Spotify. Great. Don’t Worry, we all get those moments when it feels like you are slowly losing your mind. I have those nights too, however, the difference between you and I is that the cure to my sleepless night is the mellow melody of ‘Falling in Time’ by VIØLETS. 

VIØLETS is a London-based alt-pop band made up of Pippa, Aaron, and Rob and their unique sound and instruments are astonishingly powerful. There is no doubt they are going to be a band to look out for this year and next. 

‘Falling in Time’ is the most comforting Song I have ever heard in my life and I have heard a lot of songs in my lifetime especially as I am a musician myself. The song is definitely on my sleepless night's playlist along with all their other songs. 

VIØLETS will make you want to grab that teddy bear you thought you were too old for and wrap yourself up in a burrito with that cute blanket your grandma knitted way back in the 80’s and cuddle up while you quite literally fall back in time.  

The song may not be about being the lazy person you want to be but it sure makes you want to relax and be at one with yourself. What’s wrong with being young and dumb? Nothing.  

If you ever feel like you are running out of reasons to succeed just remember that we can all go through that negative phase and this song surely allows you to accept that feeling and shrug it off.  

‘Falling in Time’ has some lyrics that really stand out to me. Don’t worry if you’re like me and are not quite sure where you are heading, whack this song on and feel those words take you to another place whether that be to a peaceful slumber or a mellow mindset while doing homework.
