A Diverse and Uplifting New Single From Mullally

Norfolk-born artist Mullally is the MOBO unsung finalist who has recently supported Jess Glynne, Clean Bandit and Akala on tour and has just released his latest single ‘She Don’t Know Me’. The single which premiered on Annie Mac's Radio 1 Show is insanely catchy and starts as soulful pop but leads into something totally unexpected due to the instrumental versatility. Half atmospheric and dreamy and really punchy and vibrant. The Diverse instrumental arrangement was created by Jay Mooncie and Blair MacKichan and elevates the track into something unique. Mullally's powerful yet tender vocals complement the lush electronic backdrop and change in pace and style.
Mullally says of ‘She Don’t Know Me’, “The meaning behind the song is the slight acknowledgement of someone’s presence but the total dismissal of their importance.  It’s about having someone in your life that champions all others. It’s the energy, the connection and the relationship dynamism that plays between these 3 people. It’s saying that no one really compares”.
This young artist started a career in music by Playing bass in a reggae/ska/punk cover band and gave him a taste for playing live and at festivals. This year alone he has been spotted playing at Glastonbury, BBC Radio 1 Big Weekender, Lovebox and due at Reading/Leeds and the summer is not even over yet.
With rumours of studio time with Ty Dollar $ign, I'm sure we can expect many more exciting times from this rising singer.
Mullally will be headlining his own show at the Hoxton Square Bar And Kitchen on 5th October. Tickets are available here
