Babocush is a cushion that was designed by Kerry Nevins, a mother of two after exhaustively looking for a device that could make her baby comfortable, similar to the comfort of a parent’s shoulder. Her search did not bear fruit as the comforters in the market were not even close to achieving that feeling. That was the inspiration behind this revolutionary device.

The design of the Babocush

It comes from the two words baby and cushion, shortened to Babocush. It is a buffer that allows a mother to rest her baby in a tummy position so that the baby can relax. It is made from foam mattress material for extra comfort; it is covered with a harness and a quilted mattress protector. The Babocush is then equipped with a three-speed vibration of a heartbeat simulator to soothe the baby further. Two 1.5 volt batteries power the pulse and vibration. The Babocush can handle infants of up to six months old.

The cushion has also been designed in a way it is easy to clean, as the outer cover is washable while the foam mattress and the vibration and heartbeat gadgets can be wiped with a clean damp cloth.
